🗓️ Sample Itinerary (4 Days / 3 Nights):
Day 1:
Trek from Lalibela to Asheten Mariam (3,000m). Visit the monastery and enjoy a picnic lunch at the summit. Continue trekking to Hudad, check in at the community house, relax, and watch the sunset.
Overnight: Hudad Community House.
Day 2:
Early morning trek to Abune Yosef (4,280m). En route, enjoy local lunch stops and photo moments. Evening stargazing experience at the Abune Yosef observatory.
Overnight: Abune Yosef Community House.
Day 3:
Explore the surrounding highlands, visit the Abune Yosef monastery, and discover local handicrafts. Trek onward to Tigu Kebelle for another community overnight stay.
Overnight: Tesfa Community Lodge.
Day 4:
Descend via Degosach to Lalibela, enjoying scenic views and village interactions.
Overnight: Lalibela Lodge (recommended).
