1. General Information

  • These Terms and Conditions govern all reservations and stays at the Lodge.
  • By confirming a booking, guests agree to abide by the policies outlined below.
  • The Lodge reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time, with notice displayed at the reception or on the official website.

2. Reservations and Payment

  • All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or advance deposit.
  • Full payment is required upon check-in unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Group bookings (5 rooms or more) may require a 50% deposit to secure the reservation.
  • Rates are quoted in U.S Dollar and are inclusive of government taxes and service charges.
  • Prices may vary depending on the season, availability, and promotional offers.

3. Check-in and Check-out

  •  Check-in time: 1:00 PM
    Check-out time: 11:00 AM
    Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged upon request and subject to availability. 
    Guests are required to present a valid ID or passport upon check-in for registration, as required by Ethiopian law.

4. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • Individual bookings:
  • Cancellations made 72 hours or more before arrival will not incur a penalty.
  • Cancellations made less than 72 hours before arrival will be charged one night’s stay.
  • No-shows will be charged 100% of the first night’s rate.
  • Group bookings: Cancellation policies may vary depending on group size and booking terms.

5. Children and Extra Beds

  • Children under 5 years stay free when sharing existing bedding with parents.
  • Children 6–12 years may be charged a reduced rate when sharing a room.
  • Extra beds or baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability.

6. Guest Conduct and Responsibility

  • •Guests are expected to respect local culture, customs, and traditions, particularly when visiting religious or heritage sites.
    •Any damage to Lodge property caused by a guest or their visitors will be charged to the responsible party.
    •The Lodge reserves the right to refuse accommodation or services to anyone behaving in a disruptive, abusive, or unsafe manner.
    •Loud noise or parties are not permitted after 10:00 PM, in respect of other guests and the community.

7. Pets

  • Pets are generally not allowed, unless by prior arrangement and written consent of management.

8. Liability

  • While every effort is made to ensure guest safety, the Lodge is not liable for:
  • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
  • Injury, accident, or illness occurring on the premises, unless due to proven negligence.
  • Guests are encouraged to secure valuables in the room safe or at the reception.

9. Force Majeure

  • The Lodge shall not be held responsible for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, government restrictions, or infrastructure disruptions.

10. Privacy Policy

  • Personal information collected during booking or registration is used solely for the purpose of providing accommodation and related services.
  • The Lodge respects your privacy and does not share personal data with third parties, except as required by Ethiopian law.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any dispute arising from these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved amicably where possible.
  • If unresolved, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Ethiopia, in accordance with Ethiopian law.
